Who we are
The Lac Ste. Anne Foundation was established by Ministerial Order as a management body to provide adequate and suitable low cost housing to seniors and low-income households, in the Lac Ste. Anne Foundation communities served.
Rent Assistance Program (RAB)
The Government of Alberta has redesigned its Rent Supplement Program to meet the needs of more Albertans, including working families and those most in need.
Effective April 1, 2021, Lac Ste. Anne Foundation is accepting applications for the Rent Assistance Benefit. Formerly, the Direct to Tenant Rent Supplement, this long-term benefit will continue to subsidize low income Albertans.
Housing Needs Assessment 2023
The Government of Alberta has developed a strategy called Stronger Foundations with the goal of expanding access to affordable housing for Albertans. This initiative encourages collaboration among municipalities, regions, First Nation governments, Métis organizations and local housing providers to look at current and projected housing needs from a holistic perspective.
Therefore, the Lac Ste. Anne Foundation chose to conduct a regional housing needs assessment of the Lac Ste. Anne Foundation service area to understand the current and future need of housing.
